  1. Vetrite

Vetrite: glass that becomes surface

Vetrite is SICIS's original patent: large-format laminated glass panels with a decorative polymer insert, designed to bring material onto a broader, more architectural, freer scale. Not a simple glass cladding, but a decorative surface of high visual impact, capable of combining depth, light, technical precision, and design possibilities that conventional design, frankly, only partially knows.

One single surface, many directions

Walls, floors, doors, furniture, countertops, boiserie, wellness environments, retail, hospitality, yachts, private residences: Vetrite moves through projects with rare agility. The large panel size expands the perception of space, reduces visual interruptions, and lets the surface design speak with greater intensity. It is a decorative glass cladding that knows how to be architectural or scenographic, rigorous or expressive. And then there is customization: finishes, graphics, atmospheres, bespoke developments. Not to accommodate everything, but to give form to spaces that have their own distinct character.

Surfaces that work with light in unconventional ways

On certain collections, Vetrite can be backlit, transforming the panel into a luminous surface with strong scenic presence. Light passes through the glass, intercepts the decorative insert, and amplifies its depth, mark, and chromatic vibration. Making the result even more precise is a decisive element: the backlighting system was developed by SICIS specifically for Vetrite, to dialogue with the material and enhance its visual effect with technical and aesthetic coherence. The effect changes with intensity and with the environment. This possibility opens up applications in interiors, exteriors, spas, humid environments, and even swimming pools, where backlighting adds an immersive quality that is hard to forget and even harder to imitate.

Color, material, compositional freedom

The strength of Vetrite also lies in its chromatic variety and compositional freedom. The collections explore dense or light tones, transparencies, mineral effects, metallic depths, more graphic or more fluid designs. Each panel can define a precise atmosphere, or enter into dialogue with different materials. And when needed, customization pushes the project even further, offering finishes on request, cuts and shapes designed specifically for a given project.

Would you ever have guessed it's also easy to install?

The fact that these are glass panels often makes a bigger impression than it should. In reality, Vetrite is easy to cut, workable on site, and manageable with an installation similar to porcelain stoneware. This makes the project smoother, more controllable, less intimidating than one might think when looking at the richness of the surface. The large format helps achieve visual continuity, while the workability allows precise adaptations on walls, furniture, and bespoke elements. Technique, here, does not complicate. It makes things possible.
