There is something untouchable about Sayuri’s gaze. Or perhaps it is precisely its absence that makes her so magnetic. The floral crown blossoms as an extension of her face, whilst the mirrored glasses form the boundary between what is revealed and what remains hidden. Inspired by the archetype of the Innocent, this work transforms delicacy into visual power, entrusting the mosaic with the task of conveying every nuance through light, colour and texture.
